Believe it or not, we have known each other for 20 years.  We met the summer of 1992 when we were both student volunteers at the Dr. Pepper Museum.  Apparently Cody had a crush on me the whole time, and I had no idea!  And everyone knew but me!  We always kept in touch and kept up with each other over the years.

 Fast forward to January 8, 2011.  I was VERY busy eating chicken nuggets alone on my couch when, out of the blue, I get a text from Cody.  He wants to go dancing at Bo’s Barn in Salado and wants to know if I would like to join him.  I decided that I could squeeze that into my hectic schedule for the evening, got out of my pajamas and met him at his house.  We had a fantastic time that night and have been together since!

We are so excited about getting married and can't wait to share this special time with our family and friends. We have specifically planned this event to be a relaxed and comfortable occasion.  Many of the details come straight from the heart and show the special meaning of our family and friends.   

The reception will kind of be split into two separate parts.  Immediately following the ceremony, you’re invited to join us for dinner, cake and all the other “normal wedding to-do’s”.  About 9:00 a good friend of ours, Mr. Jody Booth will start the entertainment portion of the evening.  He will be providing great, traditional country music for everyone to “scoot their boots” to inside the Cotton Club.  We welcome everyone to join us for great music and great times!
